wow, this is totally unbelieveable for me.... imho the last isis output was a milestone in art, progressive, sludge and even in post rock .... i saw em last year together with jakob...and therefore i agree....epic live sound of jakob !! dont miss it ...

Meh, In The Absence of Truth was a biiiiiiiiig letdown in my opinion. But what is exciting is that New Zealand's 'Jakob' are recording at the same time and apparently releasing at the same time then touring Europe with Isis, so do yourself a favour and check out one of the best, if not THE best post rock bands in the world!

Isis' frontman Aaron Turner, revealed in his personal blog that all tracking for their new album is finished at this point, 6 of the 8 songs are mixed and that the new song that the band debuted during their recent european tour is entitled "20 minutes/40 years".
